See in the collectionThe painter Émile Schuffenecker, his wife and children in the studio, painted in 1889 and inscribed “to good old Schuffenecker”: the Musée d’Orsay follows it from the Schuffenecker collection to Denys Cochin’s, then to the Bernheim gallery in 1918, to Kojiro Matsukata, and to the national museums in 1959 under the peace treaty with Japan[1].

Today: At the Musée d’Orsay, RF 1959 8, as Schuffenecker’s Studio, also called The Schuffenecker Family[1].
