See in the collectionArgenteuil under the floods of the winter of 1872–73: the Wildenstein catalogue, no. 252, gives it to Durand-Ruel from 1881 and has it sold to Denys Cochin on 27 October 1893, the earliest Monet of his with a date, taken back by Durand-Ruel in 1898 and sold to Jules Strauss in 1899[1, 2].
