See in the collectionThe Pond, Sunset of the Boussod, Valadon et Cie books, come from Dubourg and sold to Denys Cochin on 2 June 1892 for 2,600 francs, and the Stream they took back from him on 25 February 1898 for Bernheim: one and the same canvas, which the Wildenstein catalogue, no. 480, follows from Dubourg in 1880 to Boussod, Valadon in 1892, to Denys Cochin, back to Boussod, Valadon and to Bernheim-Jeune in 1898[1, 2, 3].

Today: In a private collection since the Mead sale at Sotheby’s New York on 14 November 1990, after Eugène Blot, the Prince de Wagram and Durand-Ruel[3].
