A Small Landscape
See in the collectionThe second Matisse of mid-May 1906, “a small landscape”, with neither title nor measurements in Vollard’s archives[1]. The receipts and invoices of the collection, a hundred and twenty photocopied pages at the Getty Research Institute, are the only place to look for it[2].
